View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, criticized Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, on the 6th, saying he "publicly joined the 'pro-Jo Guk' forces."
This remark was made in response to Lee's online participation in the 4th rally hosted by the 'Prosecutor and Media Reform Candlelight Action Coalition' that afternoon.
On Facebook that day, Yoon said, "The forces that created the Jo Guk incident two years ago suddenly gathered to hold a 'Prosecutor and Media Reform Candlelight Rally' this afternoon, and surprisingly, Lee himself is participating," adding, "I wondered if it was a rally urging the investigation of Lee in the Daejang-dong gate case to be conducted properly without leniency, but it turned out to be 'Pro-Jo Guk Rally Season 2'."
He continued, "Due to the Jo Guk incident, the Democratic Party government dismissed all diligent prosecutors and remodeled the prosecution to operate at their whim, extinguishing investigations into corruption by the living power, thereby completing 'their own reform,'" and pointed out, "As a result, corrupt powers and interest cartels now exploit the weak and common people without fear of punishment."

Yoon added, "Looking at the prosecution trying to save Lee at all costs in the Daejang-dong investigation, there is nothing left to ruin further," and said, "As of today, Lee has publicly joined the 'pro-Jo Guk' forces. It has become clearer which choice the people who love democracy and the rule of law will make between me and Lee."
