[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] A fishing boat drifting due to engine failure near Incheon Bridge was rescued by the Coast Guard.
According to the Incheon Coast Guard on the 6th, at around 6:47 a.m. that day, a 19-ton fishing boat A was drifting 3.5 km south of Incheon Bridge in Jung-gu, Incheon. After receiving the report from the boat's captain, the Coast Guard dispatched nearby patrol vessels and coastal rescue boats to the scene.
Subsequently, all 27 people, including the captain, two crew members, and 25 passengers, were rescued. They arrived at Manseok Pier in Dong-gu, Incheon, and disembarked at around 8:44 a.m. that day.

The boat was found to have drifted due to engine failure. The Coast Guard plans to tow the boat to Manseok Pier using a private tugboat.
