17 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Gwangju by 2 PM on the 5th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] As of 2 PM on the 5th, 17 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the Gwangju area.
The Gwangju Metropolitan City announced the COVID-19 occurrence status containing this information.
Among the new confirmed cases, 7 are related to the administrative order for job placement agencies, increasing the cumulative total to 72.
One case was reported related to a foreign acquaintances gathering in Gwangsan-gu, bringing the cumulative total to 9.
Five cases were infected through contact with existing confirmed patients.
One case was imported from overseas, and 3 cases, including 5432, 5433, and 5437, have unknown infection routes.
As of midnight on the same day, the vaccination completion rate was 74.7%, and the first dose vaccination rate was 79.7%, respectively.
The number of breakthrough infections has been investigated to be 771 from April 23 to the present.
