Early Execution of 2022 Regular Executive Personnel Changes... 56 Promotions and Transfers
Hyundai Department Store Group announced on the 5th that it has appointed Park Cheol-gyu (photo), a former Samsung C&T executive, as president of Hansome's overseas fashion division, and carried out a regular executive reshuffle involving a total of 56 people, including 27 promotions and 28 transfers, effective January 1 next year.
President Park graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in International Economics and joined Samsung C&T in 1989. He served as General Manager (Senior Executive Director) of Cheil Industries' Overseas Merchandise Division and Executive Director of Cheil Industries' Fashion Business Division 2, and since 2015, he has been Vice President and Head of Samsung C&T's Fashion Division.
The scale of this personnel reshuffle by Hyundai Department Store Group is similar to previous years. It is interpreted that the reshuffle was advanced from the usual late November schedule to establish next year's management strategy early and prepare goals without disruption in response to changes in the business environment such as the phased recovery of daily life (With Corona).
