12 Additional COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Gwangju Including Foreigners
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] On the 4th, 12 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the Gwangju area.
The Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that the additional confirmed cases were classified as numbers 5420 to 5431.
By infection route, 6 cases were related to a foreign acquaintance gathering located in Gwangsan-gu.
Three cases were related to an administrative order at an employment agency, confirmed to be foreigners from Thailand, Cambodia, and Uzbekistan.
One confirmed case was related to a middle school located in Seo-gu; the individual developed symptoms during self-quarantine and underwent testing. The cumulative total is now 12.
One imported case was reported; a Korean national who entered from Cambodia tested positive during quarantine.
Case number 5420 currently has an unidentified infection route.
