[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A job fair that will invigorate the employment market in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions through public-private cooperation is being held for the first time.
Busan City and the Busan Economic Promotion Agency announced on the 5th that, together with the Busan Employment and Labor Office, Ulsan City, and Gyeongnam Province, they will hold the "2021 Bu-Ul-Gyeong Online Job Fair" for two weeks from the 8th to the 19th to promote phased daily recovery and revitalize the regional employment market.
This job fair was organized for the first time as a public-private joint effort in the Bu-Ul-Gyeong region to resolve the recruitment difficulties of local companies and expand employment opportunities for job seekers.
The event will be conducted entirely online using the online job platform established by the Busan Economic Promotion Agency.
Major events include recruitment booths for about 240 companies in the Bu-Ul-Gyeong region, real-time employment special lectures and recruitment briefings through the official Youth Do Dream YouTube channel.
Real-time employment special lectures include ▲ October 10: Second half employment market trends and strategies ▲ October 17: Special lecture on the National Competency Standards (NCS) field ▲ October 18: Employment coaching in the non-face-to-face era.
Additionally, regional recruitment briefings will be held as follows: ▲ October 10: Ulsan region (Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, Elimedia) ▲ October 17: Busan region (Busan Urban Corporation, IKEA, Lotte World) ▲ October 18: Gyeongnam region (Small and Medium Business Corporation, Weltem).
Job seekers can apply for jobs and participate in video recruitment interviews on the fair’s website, and receive video employment counseling support such as AI-assisted self-introduction writing and competency testing services.
During the event period, three on-site booths (Busan Job Comprehensive Center, Tourism MICE Special Employment Support Center, West Busan Machinery Parts Industry Job Support Center) will be separately operated for job seekers who have difficulty accessing online, providing video interview and counseling equipment.
Job seekers wishing to participate in the fair can apply online starting from the 8th.
