LG Electronics Targets MZ Generation with 'Gram Tuning' Event
Held at 'Peachis Dowon' in Seongsu-dong, Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] LG Electronics announced on the 5th that it will conduct a unique marketing campaign targeting the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) by promoting its ultra-lightweight laptop, ‘LG Gram’.
From the 20th to the 30th of this month, LG Electronics will hold the ‘LG Gram Tuning Week’ event for ten days at ‘Peaches Dowon’ in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, which has recently emerged as a hot place. Peaches Dowon is a complex cultural space of Peaches, a lifestyle brand based on car tuning, hosting various exhibitions and events.
During this Tuning Week, LG Electronics will select 300 customers who purchase the LG Gram released this year and offer free performance tuning by upgrading the SSD with an additional 1 terabyte (TB), as well as exterior styling opportunities with limited edition custom stickers.
LG Electronics planned this event for the MZ generation, who seek new experiences and have distinct personalities. Customers visiting during the event period can purchase goods co-created by LG Electronics and Peaches, such as mice and mousepads, and also enjoy media art linking Peaches’ exhibited vehicles with the LG Gram.
Before the opening of Tuning Week, LG Electronics will open an event page from the 5th to the 14th of this month to accept applications from customers who want to participate in the tuning.
