Real Estate Brokerage Startup 'Jiptos' Takes on Helping Soldiers Who Completed Military Service Find Homes
[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] Real estate brokerage startup Jiptoss announced on the 4th that it will hold the 'Finding Homes for Discharged Soldiers' event to help soldiers who have completed their military service settle safely.
'Finding Homes for Discharged Soldiers' is a housing support event designed to help discharged soldiers settle safely into society. The core of the event is to find a customized home together through one-on-one housing consultations and support brokerage fees up to 500,000 KRW. It is part of the 'Jiptoss Seoul Youth Housing Support Campaign' launched last month. The campaign was prepared to support the new start of young people returning to society.
The event targets discharged soldiers who have completed real estate contracts at Jiptoss directly managed real estate offices. Anyone discharged within one year from the date of signing the real estate contract is eligible. Social service agents and officer discharged soldiers are also included. When signing the contract, if the discharge certificate or verifiable documents are presented, the responsible licensed real estate agent will verify and immediately discount the brokerage fee on site. The supported brokerage areas are rental types of small residential real estate such as one-room and two-room units.
Jiptoss plans to expand the 'Seoul Youth Housing Support Campaign' in the future to segment the diverse needs of the youth and provide practical housing support. The company does not forget the background of its founding, which started to solve the difficulties of friends looking for homes, and aims to accompany the journey of each young person finding their own home. Beyond one-on-one housing consultations and brokerage fee support, Jiptoss plans to continue youth support for those in their 20s and 30s, research on related systems, partnerships, and collaborations.
The event period runs until the end of December. It will be held simultaneously at all 20 Jiptoss directly managed real estate branches.
Jiptoss is an online and offline real estate brokerage service started by CEO Lee Jae-yoon, who obtained a licensed real estate agent certificate during his military service. After returning to Seoul National University, he concretized the direct brokerage service by helping friends find homes. Currently, Jiptoss operates 20 directly managed real estate offices in Seoul and Suwon. Each branch’s licensed real estate agents only broker properties collected and managed directly by Jiptoss. A distinctive feature is that no matter which branch you visit, you can check real properties throughout Seoul through the direct management system.
