Suncheon-si Selects 106 Open Daycare Centers
Creating a Childcare Environment Where Children Are Happy and Parents Feel Secure
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Heo Seok) announced on the 4th that it has selected 106 Open Daycare Centers where access to childcare facilities and parental participation have been expanded.
Open Daycare Centers refer to daycare centers that are open in terms of physical structure and program operation, and where parental participation takes place.
The city will prioritize support for teaching materials and supplies for the 106 Open Daycare Centers and exclude them from operational inspections and parental monitoring to guarantee operational autonomy.

Through this selection of Open Daycare Centers, the number has increased from the existing 86 to 106, making about 54% of all daycare centers (194 centers) Open Daycare Centers.
