Hyundai Department Store Sells Korea's Most Expensive Bed... "Strengthening High-End Living"
Swedish Brand 'H?stens' Sold at Trade Center Branch
Exhibition of Bed 'Grand Vividus' Worth 500 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Hyundai Department Store announced on the 4th that from the 5th to the 14th, it will exhibit and sell the Swedish luxury mattress brand 'H?stens' bed 'Grand Vividus' worth 500 million KRW for the first time in Korea on the 11th floor of the Trade Center branch. H?stens is a mattress brand with a 170-year history, famous for being used by the Swedish royal family.
The bed 'Grand Vividus' on display this time is characterized by its design by world-renowned interior designer Ferris Rafauli from Canada. It is handcrafted by Swedish artisans using premium materials such as natural leather. As a result, it takes about six months from order to delivery. The selling price is 500 million KRW, making it the most expensive bed sold in Korea.
Hyundai Department Store is showcasing the most expensive bed in Korea because the time spent at home has increased, leading to a continuous rise in demand for high-end furniture. From January to October this year, Hyundai Department Store's premium furniture sales increased by 111.7% compared to the same period last year, more than double the growth rate of overall furniture sales.
A Hyundai Department Store official said, "As the concept of home expands from a simple living space to a space expressing individuality, demand for high-end furniture above premium is also increasing. We will continue to provide customers with new shopping experiences and differentiated value, including the sale of this bed."
