Sancheong-gun, Additional COVID-19 Vaccinations for Immunocompromised Individuals and Others
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Sancheong County Health and Medical Center in Gyeongnam announced on the 4th that it will conduct additional COVID-19 vaccinations until December.
The additional COVID-19 vaccination targets include immunocompromised individuals, patients and workers in nursing hospitals and facilities, elderly people aged 60 and over, people in their 50s, patients aged 18-49 with underlying conditions, priority vaccination occupational groups, and Janssen vaccine recipients.
The county health center plans to individually notify additional vaccination candidates (except Janssen vaccine recipients) who reach six months after completing the primary vaccination via text message. Those who receive the text can make a reservation to receive the additional vaccine. Janssen vaccine recipients can get vaccinated two months after the primary vaccination.
Advance reservations can be made online through the ‘COVID-19 Advance Reservation System’ or by phone through the ‘Sancheong County COVID-19 Telephone Consultation Center.’ Foreigners can also receive additional vaccinations using the same methods.
Additional vaccinations can be administered using the temporary management number issued for the primary vaccination. To minimize leftover vaccines, a day-of-the-week system for entrusted medical institutions will be implemented starting in November.
