The Nightingale Pledge Ceremony is a ritual where second-year nursing students, who are about to begin clinical practice, reflect on the meaning of respecting life and make a commitment as prospective nurses.
The event was conducted in four groups. The prospective nurses pledged, "We will inherit the noble nursing spirit of Nightingale, respect human life, and dedicate ourselves to the well-being of those receiving nursing care."
