Shinhan Bank Launches Event Waiving Electronic Trade Service Usage Fees
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Bank announced on the 3rd that it will hold an event waiving usage fees for new electronic trade service agreements in collaboration with Korea Trade Network.
The event runs until January 31 of next year, and customers who designate Shinhan Bank as their transaction bank and newly contract the electronic trade service (EDI) can have the basic fee of 20,000 KRW per month and the electronic document transmission fee exchanged with Shinhan Bank (479 KRW per 1KB) waived for three months including the contract month.
Customers wishing to participate in the event can join by registering a financial certificate on Shinhan Bank's corporate internet banking or by signing up on the UTradeHub site operated by Korea Trade Network and completing the electronic transaction agreement through joint certificate registration.
EDI allows non-face-to-face processing of tasks such as letter of credit issuance, purchase confirmation issuance, domestic letter of credit, and trade remittance, enabling customers to improve work efficiency and enjoy cost reduction effects due to low fees.
