"Wife Dies After Pfizer Vaccination... 119 Delays, Calling It a 'Prank Call' - Cheong Petition"
Bleeding and Respiratory Distress 5 Days After Second Dose
"5 Minutes from Home to Fire Station... Life Lost Due to Delayed Response"
[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] A story has emerged about a healthy wife who collapsed and died five days after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, showing symptoms of bleeding and difficulty breathing.
On the 2nd, a petition titled "My wife died due to side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine" was posted on the Blue House National Petition Board. The petitioner, Mr. A, urged, "The sudden death of my wife was due to side effects of the COVID vaccine and the delayed dispatch of 119 emergency services, causing us to miss the golden time," and requested "measures to prevent recurrence."
Mr. A's wife suddenly died five days after receiving the second Pfizer dose on the 20th of last month. The petitioner said, "On October 20th, my wife left this world, leaving behind her husband and our 7-year-old young son," and added, "The hospital's explanation that the cause of death of my wife, who had no prior illnesses, is unknown is absurd."
He continued, "On October 20th, five days after receiving the second Pfizer vaccine dose on October 15th, my wife collapsed showing symptoms of bleeding and difficulty breathing and was taken to the emergency room of Hallym University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital, but she ultimately did not return to her young son and husband," and lamented, "By the time she arrived at the hospital, the delayed dispatch of 119 caused us to miss the golden time."
In particular, he claimed, "The first report was around 12:10 PM when my father-in-law, who first found my wife, contacted my mother-in-law, who then made the initial 119 call requesting immediate dispatch, but 119 responded by asking if it was a prank call," and added, "The Yeongdeungpo Fire Station responded that there was a fire and no vehicle was available, and about 20 minutes after the 119 call, at around 12:35 PM, I received a call saying they were on their way."
He continued, "Ultimately, the Yeongdeungpo Fire Station, which first received the emergency patient report around 12:10 PM that day, dispatched after 20 minutes and arrived only at 12:45 PM, which was already 35 minutes later. When they reached the hospital emergency room, my wife had already stopped breathing," he added.
Mr. A raised his voice, saying, "Our home and the fire station are less than 5 minutes apart, but due to the fire station's delayed dispatch, we lost a precious life," and urged, "Please hold the fire station accountable for the delayed dispatch so that such incidents never happen again."

He further emphasized, "The government should not only encourage vaccination but also thoroughly investigate vaccine side effects to identify causes and prevent grievances among the public," and stressed, "It is no longer acceptable for the government to keep saying 'it is not because of the vaccine' while people die or become paralyzed after vaccination. I earnestly request that measures be taken to prevent further vaccine victims."
