Bombing and Gunfire Near Kabul Military Hospital in Afghanistan's Capital
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] On the 2nd (local time), a bomb attack and gunfire occurred near a military hospital in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, resulting in more than 15 deaths.
According to major foreign media, more than two explosions occurred near the Sardar Mohammad Daoud Khan Military Hospital that day, followed by continuous gunfire. A Taliban official cited by foreign media reported that more than 15 people were killed and 34 injured due to the explosions.
Another news agency, quoting witnesses, reported that a suicide attack took place near the hospital and that the terrorists entered the hospital.
According to this agency, the terrorists blew up the hospital entrance and engaged in a gunfight with Taliban fighters. The Taliban authorities deployed special forces to respond to the situation.
