Hwasun-gun Recruiting 'Local Food Project Experience Group' Until the 11th

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 2nd that it will recruit 100 youths on a first-come, first-served basis to participate in the local food project experience group at the Youth Culture House from the 5th to the 11th.

The applicants must be youths aged from first grade in elementary school to 24 years old who have their resident registration in the county.

The participants can experience the local food project by processing healthy food using eco-friendly agricultural products from Hancheon-myeon and Cheongpung-myeon, developing their own brand, and considering distribution methods.

They will also use experience kits provided by the Youth Culture House to conduct activities at home.

They can choose one from this year's harvested plum and lemon syrup kit or 3-year-old balloon flower root and ginger syrup kit. Plum and lemon syrup, as well as balloon flower root and ginger syrup, are effective in preventing respiratory diseases and colds and strengthening immunity during the transitional season with large temperature differences.

Applications can be downloaded from the Youth Culture House website, filled out, and submitted either by visiting in person or sending via email or fax to the project manager.

A county official said, “We are developing and promoting various face-to-face and non-face-to-face programs such as youth club activities, cultural arts, and career experiences suitable for phased daily recovery to support the healthy growth of youths.”
