Studio SJ's 'CandyPlus' Ranks No.1 in App Store Camera Category
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Studio SJ announced on the 2nd that its application ‘CandyPlus’ ranked 1st and 2nd in the Camera category on the Apple App Store and Google Play, respectively.
‘CandyPlus’ is the new name of ‘Candy Camera,’ which was launched in November 2013. ‘Candy Camera’ is a globally hit mobile camera application featuring real-time filters and various editing functions since its release. Once mistaken as a Chinese app, ‘Candy Camera’ is a native Korean app with over 270 million global downloads.
Kim Song-eun, CEO of Studio SJ, said, “Recently, we updated beauty features using real-time facial recognition and significantly reduced ads to make the app more comfortable for users, which seems to be receiving a positive response.
