Gyeongsangbuk-do and Park Jeonghee Memorial Foundation Sign Business Agreement to Reexamine Achievements

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Gyeongsangbuk-do signed a business agreement with the Park Chung-hee Presidential Foundation on the 1st at the provincial office to promote joint projects.
This agreement aims for mutual cooperation in various fields between Gyeongbuk Province, the birthplace of the Saemaul Undong (New Village Movement), and the foundation, including research, development, and promotion of projects to re-examine and historically reassess the achievements of President Park Chung-hee.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲ mutual cooperation in research, development, and promotion related to the achievements of President Park Chung-hee, including the Saemaul Undong ▲ online and offline business cooperation related to President Park Chung-hee and the Saemaul Undong ▲ providing convenience for the use of major facilities of both organizations and attending events.
Next year, Gyeongbuk Province will jointly produce YouTube content introducing the region linked with the Saemaul Undong in collaboration with the foundation as part of a regional exploration program.
Additionally, they plan to promote a ‘Saemaul Undong Special Exhibition’ in the form of a message wall using three-dimensional panels, photos, videos, and more to showcase the history of the Saemaul Undong.
Lee Cheol-woo, Governor of Gyeongbuk Province, said, “This business agreement will serve as an opportunity to widely publicize President Park Chung-hee’s achievements domestically and internationally by jointly promoting various projects related to his accomplishments and evaluations,” adding, “Let us make mutual efforts to overcome the current crisis with Park Chung-hee’s leadership and the spirit of the Saemaul Undong.”
