According to the Sasang Police Station in Busan on the 1st, on the previous day, the 31st, Mr. A, a representative in his 50s, fell into a tank containing the toxic substance sodium hydroxide at an industrial workshop in Hakjang-dong and died.
Mr. A was working on a 3.6m high H-beam shaped rail when he fell into the neutralization tank below, which contained the toxic substance.
The police believe the accident occurred while welding to install safety bars inside the workshop.
It was investigated that Mr. A died from inhalation poisoning of the toxic substance inside the neutralization tank after the fall.
