Korea Island Promotion Agency to Hire 12 New Employees

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seung-hyun Jeong] The 'Korea Island Promotion Agency,' newly established in Mokpo City, Jeollanam-do, is recruiting new employees.
The agency plans to hire 12 out of the 35 personnel needed for its operations within this year.
The recruitment targets include five team leader-level personnel, including the head of the management support office, and seven operational staff, while the remaining 23 will be hired next year.

The agency is the nation's first dedicated research and promotion institution for islands, established last year following the revision of the Island Development Promotion Act.
