SK Hynix Opens 'SV Portal,' a Platform Supporting Social Value Creation Activities
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] SK Hynix announced on the 1st that it has launched an integrated platform called 'SV Portal' to support activities that create social value (SV).
The SV Portal consists of a total of four modules: △ 'SV Activity' that supports members' SV activities △ 'SV Account' that supports SV creation activities together with SK Hynix stakeholders △ 'SV KPI' that systematically manages selected SV tasks △ 'Hy-SVMS' that discovers, collects, and manages all SV achievements of SK Hynix.
SK Hynix explained that it created this platform to gather channels operated by each organization in one place and promote SV creation activities more efficiently. Earlier this year, after announcing the mid-to-long-term roadmap 'SV2030' and establishing detailed goals to be achieved by 2030 in four major SV creation areas?environment, mutual growth, social safety net, and corporate culture?it formed 'DBL Practice Teams' by organization and worked on building individual systems and channels, but felt the need to integrate them into one.
The SV Portal construction project was carried out over a total of eight months starting in March, with the SV Performance Management Team playing a leading role, and collaborating with the Digital Transformation (DT) team and the DBL Practice Team’s operators during platform planning and system development.
Before the full-scale system construction, the SV Performance Management Team collected members’ opinions and analyzed existing SV channels to gather elements necessary for building the integrated platform. Based on members’ feedback, requirements were specified and a prototype was created. Then, after communicating with the field, the finalized UI and functions were developed together with the DT team. After development, three stages of testing were conducted by the SV Performance Management Team, DT team, and the field, and improvement points from each stage were immediately reflected and retested multiple times. Ultimately, only functions that passed all tests were built into the portal.
Lee Jeongho TL (SV Performance Management Team), who participated in the project, said, "If cases discovered in the field are SV achievements, then strengthening execution through appropriate rewards and support for members is necessary," adding, "Through the SV Portal, members can easily grasp SV achievements at a glance, and based on this, they can promote more efficient SV activities."

He continued, "The SV Portal is a system created together by all employees. We hope that everyone actively uses it to obtain information necessary for SV creation activities," and added, "Going forward, we plan to introduce various events, including a portal opening event, to help members feel more familiar with SV activities."
