Nongshim's 'Saewookkang Black' Surpasses 2 Million Packs Sold in Just 2 Weeks After Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Nongshim announced on the 1st that 2.2 million packs of Saewookkang Black were sold within two weeks of its launch.
Saewookkang Black is a premium product made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Saewookkang, coated with Italian black truffle and containing double the shrimp content.
Saewookkang Black attracted anticipation even before its release as it marked the first change in 50 years. In an online live shopping event held on the 13th of last month ahead of the launch, all 5,000 sets prepared were sold out in less than 30 minutes. Additionally, the Saewookkang advertisement released online by Nongshim surpassed 2.9 million views on YouTube within two weeks.
