KOTRA and the Korea Management Association (KMA) announced on the 31st that they will operate the 'Global Business Consultant (GBC)' Level 2 course, focusing on enhancing university students' capabilities in pioneering overseas markets.
GBC is an educational program that the two organizations have been running since 2018 for working professionals, offering a Level 1 course to cultivate experts in overseas expansion for SMEs and mid-sized companies, having produced over 200 professionals. The newly introduced Level 2 course is specialized for university students. Through practical, hands-on training, it aims to nurture young talents who can be immediately deployed in companies' overseas operations. The four-week curriculum covers everything from information gathering and market analysis to strategy formulation and consulting practice.
KOTRA and KMA plan to continuously recruit universities interested in participating in the GBC Level 2 course, following the launch at Seoul National University of Science and Technology on the 29th of last month.
Im Sangcheol, Executive Director of the Korea Management Association, stated, "The GBC Level 2 course is a model combining KOTRA's global business expertise and KMA's human resource development (HRD) specialization, attracting significant interest from universities."
