According to Yeosu Coast Guard on the 29th, at around 11:15 a.m., a report was received that an object presumed to be a human body was floating in the sea in front of Yeho Port, Jeomam-myeon, Goheung-gun.
The Coast Guard recovered the body and confirmed it to be that of Kim (36), who went missing at sea in Yeojaman on the 22nd.
The location where Kim was found dead is about 7.4 km away from the place where he went missing, and the fish farm management vessel captain, Jeong (48), who went missing together, has not yet been found.
The Coast Guard plans to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to determine the exact cause of death.
The disappearance incident occurred on the 22nd about 3 km southwest of Daeyeoja Island, Hwajeong-myeon, Yeosu City. At that time, the Coast Guard dispatched a rescue team after receiving a report that a person had fallen into the sea from the management vessel.
