On the same day, the volunteer team from the Marketing Strategy Department within the Marketing Division also worked up a sweat helping with harvesting at a fruit farm in Yesan-gun, Chungnam Province, together with employees from NH Nonghyup Bank’s Chungnam Sales Headquarters.
Additionally, on the 29th, Kang Daejin, Executive Vice President of the Credit Review Division, and employees from four departments (Credit Planning Department, Credit Review Department, Credit Management Department, Corporate Improvement Department) jointly conducted large-scale labor assistance by visiting apple farms in Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, to help with harvesting and other tasks.
The labor assistance activities conducted intensively during the autumn harvest season by each department included various tasks such as harvesting agricultural products, weed removal, and environmental cleanup, providing significant support to farms struggling with labor shortages. In particular, the N-Dolphin university volunteer group, which participated in the labor assistance, is selected annually by NH Nonghyup Bank and consists of 102 members across 17 teams nationwide. The 9th N-Dolphin group was selected last February and has been carrying out various missions such as serving as NH Nonghyup Bank ambassadors and providing financial education to youth, concluding their volunteer activities at the end of this month.
Nam Jaewon, Executive Vice President of the Marketing Division, expressed his thoughts, saying, “I hope we can provide a small help to farms struggling with labor supply amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and the peak harvest season.” Kang Daejin, Executive Vice President of the Credit Review Division, stated, “Through continuous volunteer activities targeting farms facing labor shortages, we will become a warm 100-year Nonghyup Bank created together with farmers.”
