"Work at Your Travel Destination"... Yanolja Implements 'Workation'
[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Leisure platform Yanolja is implementing a workation system.
A workation is a new work style that combines work and rest at a travel destination. The company explained that the introduction of the workation was prepared to establish an efficient and flexible work environment. It is also interpreted as part of Yanolja's 'Tech All-in' vision announced in June this year. When employees apply for a workation, they can receive support for hotels, meals, and corporate vehicles within the travel destination for one week.
The first workation will take place for one week starting from the 31st in Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do. Yanolja is collaborating with the Gangwon-do Tourism Foundation to develop exclusive workation products. The company plans to actively encourage support tourism utilizing time outside of work. Reflecting employee feedback, the company intends to continuously expand workation target areas and linked tourism products, contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.
