[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) is conducting a university campus tour program with college student mentors for local middle and high school students until the end of this year.
The university exploration program is part of the career experience program organized by the Bang Jeong-hwan Education Support Center. The district stated that it prepared a program where students can visit universities directly to help them collect department information necessary for their careers and have vivid university exploration through close mentoring with college student mentors.
Thirteen middle and high schools in the area are participating in this program, and they will have a time to design their career paths at Seoul National University, the school to be explored. The program consists of a campus tour with college student mentors by group, department-specific tours, important subject study methods, and motivational learning sessions through mentoring.
A student who participated in the first tour on the 25th said, "I was able to learn what preparations are needed to enter the department I want to pursue in the future. It made me think I need to study harder."
Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, "I hope that the students participating in this university campus tour program will be motivated to study and make more efforts toward their desired dreams," adding, "We will continue to strive to broaden students' career perspectives through various field learning experiences and programs."

Starting with Seil Middle School on the 12th, a total of about 200 students from three middle schools?Seil, Munseong, and Siheung?participated in the free semester system program themed on the 4th Industrial Revolution and artificial intelligence. Students who complete the program receive a certificate of completion from Seoul National University Lifelong Education Institute.

The "e021 Yangcheon Youth Festival" is a cultural festival planned and operated with care by the Yangcheon Innovation Education District Youth Autonomy Activity Group. A booth promoting youth autonomy activities will also be prepared.
In the three-dimensional virtual convergence world "Zepeto (metaverse platform)," the "Yangcheon Youth Festival" held in the real-world Yangcheon Park will be replicated. On the online "Yangcheon TV (YouTube)," it will break away from traditional viewing and lecture content to broadcast "entertainment-type youth activities." In segments like the team mission-clear game "Small Olympics" and the team competition online game "Challenge! Caruffle Game Tournament," viewers can meet Yangcheon-gu youth full of talent and charm comparable to idols.
