Gwangju Nambu Fire Station Conducts Second Half Firefighting Tactics Training Evaluation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Nambu Fire Station (Chief Lee Jeong-ja) announced on the 28th that it conducted the second half fire tactics training evaluation, simulating real-life scenes to improve on-site response capabilities.
The fire tactics training evaluation is conducted twice a year, divided into the first and second halves, targeting fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical personnel. It aims to familiarize them with essential basic tactics for firefighting activities at various disaster sites to enable swift and efficient on-site operations.
The second half fire tactics training evaluation events included ▲ four-person fire suppression team tactics ▲ rescue using ladders ▲ traffic accident life rescue ▲ smart medical guidance implementation for cardiac arrest patients, all conducted in compliance with COVID-19 prevention guidelines.
Go Jung-hyun, head of the 119 Disaster Response Team, stated, “Through training conducted as if in real situations, we will enhance the responders’ on-site response capabilities and do our best to protect citizens’ lives and property in any disaster situation.”
