Hulien Donates 'Food Waste Processor' to Songdang Village, Gujwa-eup, Jeju

[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Hurien Co., Ltd. announced on the 28th that it donated a microbial food waste processor HD-020 model worth 30 million KRW to Songdang Village, Gujwa-eup, Jeju, which was designated as Korea's first UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.

The donation ceremony was attended by Kim Chunjae, CEO of Hurien, Ko Jaewan, head of Gujwa-eup, and Hong Yonggi, head of Songdang-ri.

This event was organized to practice Hurien’s management philosophy for environment, society, and family, such as ‘realizing an environment that loves the Earth’ and ‘a life for a healthy living environment.’

Since 2021, Hurien, with Hyunyoung as its exclusive model, selected the microbial food waste processor as the most suitable living environment product for Jeju, which boasts pristine natural surroundings.

The donated food waste processor is a representative product of the newly launched HD-010A1, HD-010A2, HD-010A3, HD-020A, HD-020C, HR-30B series released this month, which is a more advanced smart food waste processor based on 16 years of accumulated know-how and technology, evolving from the 1st generation grinder type, 2nd generation dryer type, 3rd generation microbial type, to the 4th generation one-stop remote support microbial food waste processor.

Kim Chunjae, CEO of Hurien, said, “Compared to existing food waste processors, this advanced product applies a microbe (KFD) that is strong for Korean cuisine, boasting more powerful decomposition capability,” and added, “It is a cutting-edge product that removes odors and harmful gases through a three-stage deodorization system applying UV-C sterilization, ion oxidation catalyst, and diffuser system.”

He continued, “Following the Geomam area in Incheon, this is the second product capable of one-stop management, allowing real-time AS management and food waste processing management.”
