[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Audi Korea announced on the 28th that it will launch the gasoline models of the mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) Q5 Sportback, the 'Audi Q5 Sportback 45 TFSI Quattro' and the 'Audi Q5 Sportback 45 TFSI Quattro Premium.'
The newly released Q5 Sportback 45 TFSI Quattro is regarded as a model that captures the appeal of both a coupe and an SUV. Both the Q5 Sportback 45 TFSI Quattro and the Q5 Sportback 45 TFSI Quattro Premium are equipped with a 2.0ℓ inline 4-cylinder gasoline direct injection turbocharger (TFSI) engine and a 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission. They deliver a maximum output of 265 horsepower and a peak torque of 37.7 kg·m. The top speed is 210 km/h (safety limited), and the zero to 100 km/h acceleration time is 6.1 seconds. Fuel efficiency is 10.0 km/ℓ based on combined mileage.
Both models feature the characteristic Sportback design with a continuously flowing shoulder line, a slanted rear window, and a high-mounted rear bumper. Additionally, they come standard with an octagonal single frame grille, large side air intakes, chrome window moldings, and a panoramic sunroof. To enhance design and visibility, matrix LED headlights with dynamic turn signals and LED taillights are applied.
Inside, multi-color ambient lighting and door entry lights are installed for a sophisticated atmosphere. Specifically, the Q5 Sportback 45 TFSI Quattro features aluminum rhombus inlays, while the Q5 Sportback 45 TFSI Quattro Premium is equipped with piano black inlays and black headlining.
For intuitive driver operation, a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit Plus and MMI Navigation Plus touchscreen are standard. The 'Audi Smartphone Interface' allows drivers to access smartphone content directly. The infotainment system also includes Audi Connect, a 3-zone air conditioner, and a Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system.
Both models are equipped with a blind spot detection system called 'Side Assist,' Audi's 'Pre Sense City' which automatically brakes if the driver does not respond, and front and rear parking assist systems. Additionally, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, a 360-degree surround view camera, and park assist are also included.

The prices for the Q5 Sportback 45 TFSI Quattro and Q5 Sportback 45 TFSI Quattro Premium, which will be available for sale from the 2nd of next month (including VAT and reflecting the individual consumption tax reduction), are 67,693,000 KRW and 73,583,000 KRW, respectively.
