Lim Jeong-ho, Former Secretary-General, Appointed as Head of Gyeonggi Education Administration Forum
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Lim Jeong-ho, the Secretariat Chief of the Forum, has been appointed as the representative of the 'Gyeonggi Education Administration Forum,' a policy research group composed of local government officials affiliated with the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education.
The Gyeonggi Education Administration Forum recently announced on the 28th that it held the inauguration ceremony for Representative Lim Jeong-ho and the farewell ceremony for former Representative Kang Jae-gu at the Gyeonggi Gwacheon Education Library.
The Gyeonggi Education Administration Forum was established to provide a platform for discussion through professional and systematic investigation, analysis, and research in the field of educational administration to respond to the era of various changes, to strengthen the capabilities of local government officials, and to contribute to the development of Gyeonggi education administration.
Since its launch in December 2017, it has been conducting various activities such as expert lectures invited for the development of educational administration in Gyeonggi Province, policy research presentations, and public lectures.
More than 200 local government officials affiliated with the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education are members. The research division carries out various research projects and also prepares issue papers on diverse topics.
Lim Jeong-ho, the Forum representative, said, "I will strive to discover and introduce policies needed on the ground so that many members can participate in the Gyeonggi Education Administration Forum and to show a stance that the school field can empathize with," adding, "I ask many people to take an interest in the forum and join us."
