Jibtos Launches Large-Scale Public Recruitment for Over 100 Licensed Real Estate Agents
[Asia Economy Reporter Tae-min Ryu] Real estate brokerage startup Jiptoss announced on the 27th that it will accelerate the growth of corporate real estate by launching a large-scale recruitment of licensed real estate agents.
Jiptoss is a brokerage corporation operating 20 Jiptoss direct real estate offices in Seoul and Suwon. The dedicated listings team directly collects and manages listings, publishes them on the Jiptoss app, and connects incoming customers with professional brokerage managers through a control system.
To create an environment focused solely on brokerage services, Jiptoss has divided brokerage tasks and established IT efficiency systems such as automated electronic contracts. The total number of employees is about 240, of which 160 are brokerage specialists.
By the end of this year, Jiptoss plans to recruit more than 100 core brokerage specialists through open recruitment. This is to accelerate growth into corporate real estate and to provide systematic brokerage services in line with the expansion of service areas. In particular, with the resumption of face-to-face classes due to With Corona, Jiptoss plans to address the increased brokerage demand for one- and two-room units near university areas and provide uniform brokerage services at all branches.
New hires will belong to the Jiptoss Brokerage Headquarters and, after completing the Jiptoss education program called ‘Jiptoss Academy,’ will be assigned to about 20 Jiptoss direct real estate branches. The Jiptoss Academy supports practical training necessary for brokerage tasks, such as using IT solutions, customer service, and listing collection and management. After branch assignment, new brokerage managers will work and can expand their responsibilities and authority according to their individual capabilities and internal rank system. The basic brokerage area is small residential real estate such as one- and two-room units, and the brokerage scope can be expanded to new villas, business site sales, apartments, and more.
New hires are guaranteed continuous professional development training through Jiptoss Academy, a minimum guaranteed salary, and performance-based bonuses. This is to break away from the traditional apprentice-style learning method, where 99% of licensed real estate agents operate as sole proprietors, and to build brokerage expertise under stable conditions.
Open recruitment applications can be submitted through the ‘Jiptoss Recruitment’ page. Candidates with concerns and a willingness to challenge in real estate brokerage can apply even without prior brokerage experience. The recruitment period is until the end of December. After document screening, final hires will be selected through a first-round phone interview and a second-round (non)face-to-face interview.
