BBQ Wins 2021 Korea Brand Awards for Delivery and Takeout Specialty Store BSK

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Chicken franchise Genesis BBQ announced on the 26th that its ‘BSK (BBQ Smart Kitchen)’ won the Grand Prize for Brand Innovation at the 9th Korea Brand Awards 2021, hosted by the Korea Marketing Association on the 20th.
BSK is a delivery and takeout specialty store unique to BBQ, launched in June last year. The Korea Marketing Association stated, “BSK was highly evaluated for presenting exemplary leadership in the franchise market with creative ideas suitable for the untact era caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.”
BSK, which can be started with a small capital, recorded 300 stores within a year and has now surpassed 400 stores. More than half of the contractors are in their 20s and 30s.

A BBQ official said, "We will fulfill the role and responsibility of the franchise headquarters and continue to find opportunities in any difficult environment to invigorate youth entrepreneurship and take the lead in the ‘Korean New Deal policy.’"
