COVID-19 Cases Decline... 3 Confirmed in Gwangju on 24th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is showing a declining trend in the Gwangju area.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 25th, three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were identified the previous day, classified as cases number 5304 to 5306.
Case 5304 is a foreigner with Thai nationality. The individual tested positive through a symptomatic test, and the route of infection has not yet been identified.
Case 5305 also tested positive through a symptomatic test, and the infection route is under investigation.
One additional confirmed case overnight is an employee of a health center in Gwangju. The health authorities conducted comprehensive testing on about 100 employees of the health center the previous day.
It was confirmed that this confirmed case had completed the AZ vaccine inoculation, and the health authorities plan to conduct an on-site evaluation today.
