Jeju Fire Station Multicultural Volunteer Fire Brigade, Active Support for COVID-19 Vaccination
[Asia Economy] The Multicultural Volunteer Fire Brigade of Jeju Fire Station is actively supporting the COVID-19 vaccination center (Halla Gymnasium).
Jeju Fire Station announced on the 24th that since the 8th of this month, the Multicultural Volunteer Fire Brigade has been stationed at Jeju City's Halla Gymnasium to assist with COVID-19 vaccinations for foreigners.
The Multicultural Volunteer Fire Brigade is operating in shifts, morning and afternoon, to ensure citizens' safety and smooth vaccination processes.
The main activities include supporting foreign language interpretation for COVID-19 vaccine recipients, conducting ▲ fever checks and hand sanitization ▲ guidance on filling out medical questionnaires ▲ directing movement flow ▲ distributing vaccination information leaflets ▲ monitoring for adverse reactions immediately after vaccination.
Go Jae-woo, Chief of Jeju Fire Station, stated, “We hope that through the diverse support activities of the Multicultural Volunteer Fire Brigade members during these challenging times of COVID-19, safety blind spots will be eliminated.”
