Woori Bank Hosts 'Woori One Banking High School LOL League' with Total Prize of 100 Million KRW
30 Million KRW Awarded to High-Performing Teams and Their Schools
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jin-ho] Woori Bank announced on the 24th that it will hold the ‘Woori WON Banking High School LoL League,’ selecting the strongest amateur high school team for ‘League of Legends (LoL).’
The ‘Woori WON Banking High School LoL League’ requires teams of 5 to 7 students from the same high school, and to receive the prize money, at least one member per team must join Woori WON Banking and verify their code to participate. Applications have been open since the 22nd and can be submitted through Woori WON Banking until 6 PM on the 4th of next month.
The tournament schedule is as follows: ▲Preliminaries (November 6, 7, 13, 14) ▲Quarterfinals (November 20) ▲Semifinals (November 21) ▲Finals (November 27). Notably, the finals will be held offline at LoL Park located in Jongno-gu for the first time in an amateur tournament and will be broadcast live.
Teams with excellent results and their schools will receive prize money and donations worth 30 million KRW, and a total of 100 million KRW worth of prize money and gifts, including participant prizes, will be provided.
