"Chilling Drinks and Desserts"... Hotels Preparing Unique Halloween Experiences
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] The hotel industry is unveiling unique promotions to celebrate the Halloween season. These range from alcoholic beverage promotions at hotel bars to visually Halloween-themed dessert promotions.
Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul is offering the 'Halloween Survival' promotion until the 30th. This promotion is designed to provide a special day by enjoying Halloween-themed drinks and pairing menus at Moon Bar, located on the top floor of Banyan Tree Seoul, along with unique events. Guests can enjoy the 'Halloween Survival Set Menu,' available only on the day. The 'Halloween Survival Event' will also be held. Games such as dalgona picking, marbles, and ttakji (Korean paper tile game), which evoke nostalgia and childhood memories for adults, will be played in a survival format. The final winner will receive the Halloween Survival Set Menu used that day and two sets of training suits that can be used as Halloween costumes. Participation in the event is limited to a maximum of two people per table.
Jjokgakbo Bites & Wine Bar at Andaz Seoul Gangnam is presenting unique menus and a Halloween Bubble & Bites package, which includes one Halloween special cocktail and unlimited wine (white, red, sparkling), from the 29th to the 31st. A total of seven unique dishes are offered, including 'Sea Monster Stew,' 'French Fries and Eyeballs,' 'Pumpkin Guard Protecting Nachos,' 'Finger Grissini,' and 'Halloween Sundae and Macarons.' The promotion is available from 6 PM to 8 PM.
The Timber House, a premium music bar at Park Hyatt Seoul, will offer a special alcoholic beverage promotion from the 29th to the 31st. Guests can enjoy three types of Halloween-themed cocktails. The cocktails include a chilling original cocktail inspired by the one-eyed giant Cyclops from Greek mythology and two classic cocktails. There is also an unlimited drinks option, which includes Halloween-themed cocktails and 'Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label' champagne.
Dining pub Okims at Westin Josun Busan will offer two Halloween cocktails from the 23rd until the 7th of next month. The 'Halloween 21 Special Ball' is a cocktail developed using the premium blended whisky Ballantine's 21 Year, characterized by its light and enjoyable taste. The 'Halloween Black Mojito' is a cocktail created with Okims bartenders' special recipe, featuring a harmony of double berries, mint, and lemon.
Four Seasons Hotel Seoul will sell Halloween desserts created by pastry chef Alexandre Chesoulie from the lobby lounge Maru and Caf? Confection by Four Seasons, located on the hotel's first floor, from the 25th to the 31st. This Batman-themed dessert includes hazelnut and chocolate sponge cake, pumpkin sauce, and chocolate mousse. The dessert section of the buffet restaurant The Market Kitchen will also be transformed with a Halloween theme from the 29th to the 31st.

The Grand Deli will offer Halloween desserts and drinks created by Eric Calabroque, a senior pastry chef from New York, until the 31st. These include 'Halloween Chocolate Cake,' 'Pumpkin Tart,' 'Mummy Cake,' 'Pumpkin Mousse Cake,' 'Hojicha Cake,' and 'Ghost Chocolate Drink.'
