[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Hyundai Heavy Industries Group announced its executive appointments for this year on the 21st, including 7 promotions to Vice President. Following the president-level appointments announced on the 12th, there are 13 promotions to Executive Director and 55 promotions to Managing Director. The company stated, "This year's appointments were made about a month earlier than usual," adding, "With the executive appointments completed early, we will accelerate the preparation of next year's business plans to respond to the changing management environment." Starting next month on the 1st, the company will eliminate the position of Deputy Managing Director and simplify the executive rank system.
