The Gwangju City Party of the People Power Party announced on the 18th that it held a plaque ceremony for the ‘Daejang-dong Gate Corruption National Reporting Center’ at the city party office and is currently receiving reports.
The establishment of the Corruption Reporting Center aims to inform citizens about the Daejang-dong development lobbying and preferential treatment suspicion case and to receive additional reports from local residents and construction workers to urge thorough investigations by the prosecution and police.
Kim Hyun-jang, chairman of the Gwangju City Party, said, “We have set up the ‘Daejang-dong Gate National Reporting Center’ because public interest and reports are needed more than ever,” adding, “We ask you to report any information and damage cases related to the preferential treatment suspicions in the Daejang-dong development in Seongnam City.”
