This year, KB Kookmin Bank has strengthened recommendations and consultations for necessary health checkup items, expanded support for physical health management by increasing the number of recruits for the ‘Abnormal Findings Management Program’ related to blood pressure, blood sugar, and weight. In addition, to systematically manage mental health, it has established and strengthened support for a linked program of ‘continuous management, diagnosis, consultation, and treatment.’
The changes in KB Kookmin Bank’s health management program have led to increased employee satisfaction. In the disease prevention program ‘The Walking (Move More) Campaign,’ which more than 10,000 employees participate in, over 93% of survey respondents evaluated that they were satisfied with the program, and more than 87% answered that it helped with health management.
Meanwhile, in May, KB Kookmin Bank directly hired a medical expert with a high understanding of financial sector work to take on the role of CHO (Chief Health Officer), overseeing the planning and promotion of employees’ physical and mental health management. Along with this, the ‘Health Strategy Center’ organization was newly established, forming a dedicated team with nurses and professional psychological counselors to create an environment where employee health can be managed systematically and professionally.
