According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters (CDCH) on the 15th, the number of confirmed cases on the 14th was 67 fewer than the previous day (13th), which had 748 cases, and 92 fewer than the previous week (7th), which had 773 cases.
Among the new confirmed cases, 680 were domestic infections and 1 was imported from overseas.
The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul reached a record high of 1,221 on the 24th of last month. After the holidays of Gaecheonjeol and Hangeul Day, the cases decreased to the 400s but surged again after the holidays ended, rising to the 700s on the 13th.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul is 110,620. Among them, 12,855 patients are currently in isolation treatment. One additional death was reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 702.
