Call for 'Overseas Private Network' as Partner for SME Overseas Expansion

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 14th that it is publicly recruiting overseas private networks specializing in supporting the overseas expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and ventures.
The overseas private networks act as partners that assist SMEs and ventures with exports and localization, carrying out SBC's export support projects such as the overseas branch project. As of this year, 123 companies have been designated and are active in 35 countries worldwide.
Considering the demand for new projects, SBC has expanded the target regions for recruitment to countries where there were no existing overseas private networks, such as Spain, Mexico, and South Africa.
Those selected as overseas private networks will be granted the qualification to operate as executors of the 2022 overseas branch project and will simultaneously obtain the qualifications to operate the export voucher project and overseas export marketing.
Eligibility for application for companies located overseas includes ▲at least 2 years of experience in overseas expansion ▲an average sales revenue of at least $100,000 over two years ▲at least 3 dedicated consulting personnel ▲at least 5 consulting achievements.
For companies located domestically, eligibility includes ▲at least 3 years of experience in overseas expansion ▲an average sales revenue of at least 500 million KRW over two years ▲at least 3 dedicated consulting personnel ▲at least 5 consulting achievements, and must have a local overseas subsidiary.
