Wanju-gun Develops Healing Bakery Using Local Agricultural Products
Composed of 10 Types Including Cake, Pie, and Rye Bread
[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Wanju County announced on the 14th that it has developed 10 types of bakery products through the 'Bakery Development Service Using Local Agricultural Products,' which is part of the W Food Therapy Project under the Wanju New Vitality Plus initiative.
The products to be produced this time include four types of cakes using vegetables such as carrot and pumpkin, three types of pies made with seasonal fruits like blackberry and melon, and a total of 10 items including rye bread made with domestic wheat.
Wanju County plans to complete the development of healing products by November by requesting functional verification of the developed products from specialized institutions.
Meanwhile, the developed products will be introduced to consumers through the W Food Therapy Center.
The W Food Therapy Center is a space where various healing foods produced locally can be exhibited, sold, and experienced, and it is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year in Jeonbuk Innovation City.
