Hyundai Card Unveils New 'Red·Green' Models... "Strengthening Premium Card Lineup"
Introducing Exclusive Services for MZ Generation Premium Card Members Only
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Hyundai Card is strengthening its premium card lineup by launching new products 'The Red' and 'The Green' following the release of the premium card 'The Pink' in May.
On the 14th, Hyundai Card announced the unveiling of its new premium cards, 'The Red Edition5' and 'The Green Edition2'. Notably, Hyundai Card analyzed the spending patterns of members holding The Red, The Green, and The Pink cards to introduce exclusive services for MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) premium card members called 'The Red Tribe', 'The Green Tribe', and 'The Pink Tribe'.
The Tribe service offers special exclusive benefits in gourmet, hotel, and cultural areas based not on demographic criteria such as age or gender, but on similar tastes and lifestyles shared by premium card members. Members holding each product receive a 20% discount at Michelin-level premium restaurants tailored to their preferences and special hotel privileges (such as room upgrades and breakfast 1+1 offers). Additionally, members enjoy early ticket reservations and special entry (fast track) for Hyundai Card Super Concerts and Culture Projects, along with various specialized benefits unique to each card.
The newly introduced The Red Edition5 consists of two types: a points type that accumulates M Points as basic benefits from card usage, and a mileage type that accumulates Korean Air mileage. The points type offers up to 2% M Points accumulation based on monthly spending (for spending over 2 million KRW), while the mileage type accumulates 1 Korean Air mile per 1,000 KRW spent.
Both cards share attractive benefits. Every year, members receive vouchers worth approximately 200,000 KRW that can be used like cash in travel, shopping, gourmet, lifestyle, and leisure categories. The 'The Lounge Members' service allows free access to over 1,000 airport lounges worldwide, and free valet parking is provided at major domestic luxury hotels and Incheon Airport. Members who spent over 20 million KRW in the previous year can choose either a 100,000 KRW discount on the annual fee or 100,000 M Points accumulation (available only for the points type). The annual fee is 300,000 KRW for domestic-only and domestic/international cards, and 100,000 KRW for family cards.
The Green Edition2 offers up to 2% M Points accumulation based on monthly spending (for spending over 2 million KRW), and provides a 5% accumulation benefit when paying in travel, overseas, and gourmet categories frequently used by The Green members. The accumulated M Points can be used for vehicle purchases, dining, shopping, fuel, cultural activities, and can be exchanged for 'The Green Voucher' to be used like cash in travel, duty-free shops, and other areas.

The annual bonus reward benefits are also noteworthy. In the first year of issuance, if the combined spending of the cardholder and family members exceeds 1 million KRW annually (lump sum + installment), 70,000 M Points are accumulated. From the second year onward, the same benefit is given for annual spending over 10 million KRW. The card also provides airport lounge services through The Lounge Members and free valet parking at major domestic luxury hotels and Incheon Airport. This card is only available online, with an annual fee of 150,000 KRW for domestic-only and domestic/international cards, and 50,000 KRW for family cards.
