28 Elementary Students and Teachers Stung by Bees During Outdoor Activity in Gunwi, Gyeongbuk, Transported to Hospital as Group
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] More than 30 people, including elementary school students and teachers who were engaged in outdoor activities, were collectively stung by bees and transported to hospitals for treatment.
According to the Gyeongbuk Fire Department, at 10:11 a.m. on the 13th, 25 elementary school students and 3 teachers were stung by bees on the mountain behind the Gunwi County Community Center in Gunwi-gun, Gyeongbuk.
The students and teachers who were stung were transported by ambulance to three nearby hospitals for treatment.
The Fire Headquarters stated that there are no serious injuries so far.
At the time of the accident, about 90 students and teachers from Gunwi Elementary School were participating in outdoor experiential activities on the mountain.
