[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Women Entrepreneurs Comprehensive Support Center announced on the 13th that it successfully held an online export consultation meeting for beauty and food buyers targeting New Southern countries.
The consultation meeting was held on the 5th and 6th at the first floor of the Women Entrepreneurs Comprehensive Support Center, where 10 women-led companies participated, including those producing beauty products such as skin and body care and processed food manufacturers.
They conducted video consultations with 32 buyers from three countries?Indonesia, which was additionally matched during the buyer discovery process, Singapore, and Malaysia?achieving 67 consultations, export consultation amounts of 5.74 million USD, and contract promotion amounts of 1.03 million USD with export potential within the next year.
Additionally, at the meeting site with buyers from New Southern countries showing increased interest in K-Food, practical results were achieved, including one additional purchase of K-Food samples such as processed snacks and processed cheese, and one MOU worth 150,000 USD was signed.
Going forward, the center plans to support follow-up management to derive additional export results for participating companies through one-on-one localization strategy consulting and local influencer marketing.
