[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Soyoung] The government will announce the final adjustment plan for social distancing before the implementation of 'With Corona (gradual recovery of daily life)' on the 15th. The Democratic Party of Korea has decided to push for extending the operating hours of restaurants in the metropolitan area from 10 PM to 12 AM exclusively for vaccinated individuals.
On the 12th, Shin Hyun-young, the Democratic Party floor spokesperson, told reporters after a National Assembly audit countermeasure meeting that at the 'With Corona TF' (Task Force) meeting scheduled for the 13th, they plan to propose strengthening incentives for vaccinated people, including the aforementioned measures.
Spokesperson Shin said, "We will move in the direction of further strengthening vaccine incentives while requesting methods that do not discriminate against unvaccinated individuals," adding, "We also plan to discuss with the government measures to enhance epidemiological investigations and expand budgets."
She added, "From the perspective of merchants and self-employed business owners, we will convey various opinions and demand measures that allow relaxed restrictions for vaccinated individuals."
Meanwhile, Son Young-rae, head of the Social Strategy Division at the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, said at the regular briefing of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters held that day, "Practical work is underway to decide and announce the social distancing measures to be implemented from next week on Friday," and added, "We consider this social distancing adjustment as the last before the system transition for gradual recovery of daily life."

Meanwhile, the government will officially launch the public-private joint organization 'COVID-19 Daily Recovery Support Committee' on the 13th to begin full-scale discussions for the transition to gradual recovery of daily life. The committee will be divided into four sectors: economy and livelihood, education and culture, local autonomy and safety, and quarantine and medical care, to provide policy advice on the overall gradual transition and gather social opinions.
