Suncheon City Offers Free Distribution of Character 'Rumi Ttungi' Emoticons

[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Jeonnam Suncheon City (Mayor Heo Seok) announced on the 12th that to celebrate Suncheon Citizens' Day, starting around 2 p.m. on the 15th, the Suncheon city character ‘Rumi Ttungi’ emoticons will be distributed for free through the KakaoTalk ‘Suncheon City Hall’ channel.
The emoticon ‘Rumi Ttungi’ being distributed this time features Sunseon Bridge of Seonamsa Temple, a World Cultural Heritage site, the reed fields of Suncheon Bay, a natural heritage, and the crater garden of the 2023 Garden Expo, promoting Suncheon’s top brand value. It is composed of witty images that allow all age groups to communicate and empathize.
The ‘Rumi Ttungi’ emoticons can be received for free by up to 40,000 people on a first-come, first-served basis by searching for ‘Suncheon City Hall’ on KakaoTalk and newly adding the channel, and can be used for 30 days.
By becoming KakaoTalk Plus Friends with Suncheon City Hall, users can regularly receive useful Suncheon news every week, such as city administration news, cultural and artistic events, and COVID-19 related information.
Previously, the first release of the Rumi·Ttungi emoticons in July last year was very popular, with all 33,000 prepared copies sold out within one minute.
