Toyota Opens Hospital School and Shelter for Pediatric Patients at National Cancer Center

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Toyota Motor Korea announced on the 12th that it recently opened a 'Hospital School' and a 'Rest Area' for pediatric and adolescent cancer patients at the National Cancer Center.
The Hospital School and Rest Area, opened with an 80 million KRW donation from Toyota Motor Korea, will serve as spaces for learning and experiences for young patients who must live and receive treatment in the hospital.
To enable young patients to study the regular curriculum appropriate for their grade levels, Pungsan Elementary School has dispatched dedicated teachers to the hospital school to conduct classes.
Nobuyuki Takemura, President of Toyota Motor Korea, said, "We are pleased to have contributed to preparing the Hospital School and Rest Area, spaces for uninterrupted learning and rest for pediatric and adolescent cancer patients who cannot attend school due to hospital treatment. We wish for the speedy recovery of the young patients and hope this place will be used as a hopeful space where they can dream of a bright future."
