Councilor Kim was recognized for his efforts to correct wrongful administration and strive for better governance by pointing out the problems of long-term private consignment monopolies and raising issues in the old downtown urban regeneration project, and was selected as the awardee in the administrative innovation category.
Councilor Kim said, “I believe this award is given as a meaning to serve the region more diligently,” and added, “I will continue to faithfully fulfill the original role of local councils and do my best to create a council that is always open and communicative for the residents of Seo-gu.”
